My initial introduction with Visions for Life, LLC was when I met Vesna during a class we both attended in October 2021. We began to talk and explored how we have some things in common, traveling being one of them. I expressed my desire to travel to Peru, and I knew our souls aligned once she told me she had a trip planned for Peru the first week of December 2021.

This trip was truly divine timing for me in many aspects of my life (mentally, physically, emotionally, but most of all spiritually). Peru was absolutely beautiful, and the partnership Vesna has with Catalina Retreat Center has created an overall excellent experience. The Catalina Center was an oasis of everything you would dream of having all in one spot. We got a chance to wake up to beautiful sunrises on the mountain tops, interact with the beautiful animals on campus as well as enjoy authentic Peruvian food throughout our trip.

Visions for Life, LLC and the Catalina retreat center made each daily experience feel special, as I never felt like a tourist and got to experience and see so many things that I may not have discovered on my own. I checked into a rehab facility for meth addiction in Scottsdale AZ. There I was assigned Vesna Matic as my counselor. I was very intrigued by her calmness and patience during group sessions. Her classes were different from all the others which revolved around spirituality and universal connections. This excited me since I was already very aware of the changing patterns of the stars but didn’t know how exactly they were affecting me personally. My favorite topic was when Vesna spoke about the new moon and how it might make one feel. I immediately was made aware of my own feelings through meditation in groups and one on one with Vesna.

Vesna has helped me reach childhood traumas that I had repressed for most of my life. Made me realize that I have never actually grieved these events. I started therapy last year with Vesna. There’s a long list of things that were going wrong in my life and I finally realized I needed some help to get through them. One of the main issues were still working on is loss of my father the brought down an avalanche of feelings that I did not know how to deal with. One of the main reasons why I chose Vesna was the fact that she understands Balkan culture. She understands the traditional roles that everybody plays within the family as well as coming from the war zone and living the formative years of your life in a refugee mode so they speak.
